Gotcha Rewards
Every day the students can earn Gotchas for displaying our school values of being respectful, cooperative, safe and a learner. When a student has recevied a 'Gotcha' ticket they place them in a box. Students are randomly drawn out on parade and can cash in their ticket for a free popper.

2024 Interhouse Swimming Carnival
It was wonderful to see our students participate in a number of races at our Years 3-10 Swimming Carnival. After some competitive racing and close results, it was Leichhardt house who were the overall champions on the day. Congratulations Leichhardt! A special congratulations to all of our aged 10-open, Champion and Runner-Up individual students. Special congratulations to Tyreece (13 years) who set a new record in the 50m Backstroke.
Instrumental Music
This year we have twelve year 4 students playing Instrumental Music. The large number has resulted in the purchasing of a variety of new instruments including Percussion Kits and Euphoniums. The new music students are over the moon with their new sounds and I am sure we will see great performance collaborations in the near future. Dimbulah State School’s dedication to making Instrumental Music available to all students in year 4 and up results in a much high portion of students enrolled in the elective subject then its counterparts.

Order only what is listed on the school lunch menu and please include the correct amount of money. Please do not staple lunch bags. Orders need to be handed into the office by 9am.

WELECOME MISS GILBERT
Hello everyone,
My name is Miss Gilbert and I am the new year 2 teacher. I graduated from my masters of Teaching last year and I moved to Dimbulah from Brisbane early this year. My favourite colour is purple and my favourite season is Winter. I love to travel and I have been to 22 countries. A few years ago, I lived in a ski resort in Canada called Big White, where I learned to snowboard. In my spare time I enjoy reading and watching television shows.
Absenteeism
If your child/ren are absent from school for any reason, please contact the school via telephone or email on that same day to advise of absence.
Bus Notice
If students are catching a bus to a location other than home, the bus driver must be informed either by phone or written note. Thank you.
Playgroup
Join us for a fun and educational playgroup session where the little ones can socialise, learn and grow together. Our dedicated team of qualified staff create an engaging environment for early childhood development. Playgroup operates every second Wednesday of each term.
